Leaves of Absence

Policies on Leaves of Absence

Duration of Leave

学生可申请一至两个学期的事假或病假 (First-Year students see additional note below). Students who apply for a leave for 一个学期可以以书面形式提出延长假期的请求学期. 休假的最长期限是连续两个学期. Effective Date

Enrollment and Grades

First-Year Students

Completing college coursework While On Leave

Parent / Guardian Notification

Personal Leave of Absence

The last day to apply for a personal leave of absence for the Spring 2024 学期 is Thursday, April 11th, 2024. 超过请假期限，不得请假. However, in exceptional circumstances, 学生可以向学术地位委员会提交请愿书.

Medical Leave of Absence

The last day to apply for a medical leave of absence for the Spring 2024 学期 is Tuesday, April 30th, 2024, which aligns 与 last day of classes. Medical leaves are not granted after the deadline. 但是，在特殊情况下，学生可以提交请愿书 to the Committee on Academic 站.

Returning from MEDICAL Leave

Students must apply to return from medical leave by the posted deadlines.

To return for 2024年夏天, applications must be received by May 1, 2024.

To return for Spring 2025, applications must be received by December 10, 2024.
